Florham Park
Overview
Located in Morris County, with an estimated 12,000 people with an estimated 2,800 residents residing in Florham Park. Roughly stretching 7.5 miles long with 7.2 miles of land. “Florham Park School District serves public school students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. As of the 2014-15 school year, the district and its three schools had an enrollment of 982 students and 89.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.0:1.” Also home to the New York Jets, the training facility is just minutes away from the heart of Florham Park.

Arts and Entertainment
The Shakespeare Theater Of New Jersey, located on the boarder of Florham Park and Madison is a great spot to check out a play. Open seven days a week, and putting on performances mostly everyday, its a place where you can go and watch a nice amateur play. Not only good for parents, but also a spot to bring your children. It is located on the campus of Drew University, not only do you get to see a play but you get to see the beautiful small campus of Drew University.
The New York Jets training facility is located in Florham Park New Jersey, and most of there practices are open to the public, you can also take a tour of the training facility, a private or public tour. You will get to see the ins and outs of the training facility, where the players lift, practice, the offices and much more. Its a great place to go watch an NFL football team practice on a beautiful day with a state of the art training facility.
Imagine That Discovery Museum is located on Vreeland Road in Florham Park. If you would like a birthday party for your son or daughter this is the place to go to, they put on just about any type of birthday party that your son or daughter would want, from face painting, to clowns, to puppet shows. Any kind of theme you want they will do, pirate, barbie, power ranger, you name it, they will do it. If you weren’t looking for a place for birthday parties, it has some exhibits that you can explore.
Parks and Recreation
Brooklake Country Club, located on brooklake road in Florham Park is open to the public. Although you need to be a member to hit a round of 18 on the golf course, you don’t need to be a member to play on the tennis courts. The tennis courts are open to the public. Not only to play but to also get a tennis lesson. Amenities that come with the tennis rental are indoor swimming pool, a sauna, health club and a steam bath.
If you are looking for sports activities to do outside in beautiful weather, look no further then Florham Park, two sets of tennis courts, with a whopping 8 courts, 4 separate batting cages, soccer fields, a lacrosse and tennis wall, the Craig Keeler Memorial Basketball courts and lastly Florham Park has a public pool. Open From memorial day until labor day, it is safe and affordable for all ages.
Florham Park has many baseball fields that are used for the little leaguers of the town. Not only for little league but also have a 50-70 field and a high school field. Fields for all different ages. “The Recreation Department’s goal is to provide a wide-range of leisure and athletic programs, trips, and events, to Florham Park residents of all ages. We work to offer quality, safe, enjoyable, and affordable services to the entire community”
Restaurants
Located right off of Columbia Turnpike most of the restaurants and places to eat are all around each other. If you are looking for a nice Italian dining experience look no further than Nonna’s. If you are looking for fun Hibachi place Kyoto is the way to go, both located right next to each other. If you are looking for a nice sandwich, Firehouse Subs is also located in that strip mall. If you are looking for something quicker, there is a Starbucks, MacDonald’s, Moe’s, Panera, all located within the vicinity of each other.
Shopping
When it comes to shopping, Florham Park has a Village for shopping called the Florham Village Shopping Center. Located right off of Columbia Turnpike, the village is a great place to go if you want to get your nails done, get a nice workout in at Retro Fitness, shop for bridal dresses or just go to get your weekly grocery shopping in. Florham Park is only five minutes away from the Livingston Mall and ten minutes from the Short Hills mall. All of which are open seven days a week.
Transportation
If you are looking to hop on a main highway, you are only minutes away from both 280, 287 and 24 which takes you to 78.
If you want to catch a plane, Florham Park is only roughly 25 minutes from the Newark Airport.
There are no train stations nor bus lines in Florham Park but if you wanted, you can go two minutes west of Florham Park to the town of Madison and jump on an NJ Transit Train or Bus.
